The 22^nd edition of the "Colloque Louis Néel" will take place from tuesday 17^th to friday 20^th of june 2025, at the domain Lou Capitelle in Vogüé (Ardèche). The conference is organized by the "Transport, Nanomagnetism and Materials for Energy" of the Institut Lumière Matière laboratory (Lyon).

A meeting in the frame of PEPR SPIN is planned, before the opening of the conference, on tuesday 17/06 afternoon: we hope that many of you will be present. 

The "Colloque Louis Néel" is a French conference, taking place every 18 months since the early 90s. It gathers in a unique place (generally a vacation center), during 3 days, more than 200 scientists working on the properties of magnetic thin films and nanosructures. This conference, which is a milestone for the French community of magnetism, is a particularly valuable moment to discuss the most recent results in the field of nanomagnetism and spintronics. It is also an opportunity to set up new collaborations, leading to orignal and fruitful scientific projects, in France and abroad. Although it gathers mainly people from France, most of the presentations are given in English and the conference is welcoming non-French-speaking researchers!

A major objective of the "Colloque Louis Néel" is to promote the work of PhD students and post-docs. It is a rich moment for scientific discussions and meetings, organized around oral contribution (by young researchers) and poster presentations.

The preceding edition of the conference held in novembre 2023 at "domaine du Lazaret" in Sète.

Have a look at the "Abstract submission" tab for practical information to submit a contribution (oral or poster presentation). Abstract submission is over (deadline was 17th january). The scientific committee will notify the acceptance for an oral presentation, after 10th february.

Registration is open ("My registration" tab, onced logged in), until the end of february 2025. You will be asked to provide some precisions upon your registration (shared room, arrival time etc.). Registration and payment is an independent process, separate from abstract submission. Practical information about the journey (free bus Valence TGV to Vogüé) and the conference program will be communicated in the future.

The conference will take place at the domaine Lou Capitelle (village vacances 4* & Spa) on the banks of Ardèche river, facing the old town of Vogüé. This "Village de Caractère", leaning aginst limestone cliffs, has the label "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France".
